Education > Common Acronyms

Acronyms are abbreviations that are formed using the initial components in a phrase or name, typically the first letter of each word in the name or phrase. Every industry has their own distinct set of acronyms also, here are a few of those that apply to the Australian Shepherd breed. Not every one agrees how to pronounce them, but at least the letters and meanings stay the same.

A Glossary of Terms is on a separate page because this one is also long already.

The reason the links are in different places was not a mistake all internal links highlight the Acronym and external links highlight the written out name of the term.  All external links will open a new page.
