How often does a dog replace its skin cells?
Every 3 to 4 weeks. This process takes a lot of the dogs energy and nutrients because of the size of the skin cell.  That is another reason it is very important to feed a nutritious food.
What to do for loose stools in adults and puppies?
Loose stool can come from many different sources: over feeding, feeding the wrong food, worms, etc. The first thing you should do is worm your dog and then feed an all natural, human grade food, that is tested for pesticides, hormones, and antibiotics.  If have just started feeding this type of food, it will take some time foe the dogs digestive system to adjust.
